If you want to learn the beautiful Spanish language you don’t have to stay at home and learn vocabulary until you loose the pleasure of studying, you can combine a nice holiday on Gran Canaria and learning Spanish.

Only a few meters from the beach Las Canteras in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria you can find the Gran Canaria School of Languages. They offer intensive Spanish courses in different levels since 1964. The courses are for foreigners, who want to learn Spanish.

The courses are offered all over the year and you can choose between 6 different levels for beginners and as well for who wants to improve their knowledge.

The courses are given private and in groups and as well you can join a semi-private course at the Gran Canaria School of Languages. The school offers as well special Spanish courses with a specific purpose.

The content of the courses for beginners have their focus on grammar and vocabulary while the advanced courses include lexical, functional, thematic and cultural contents. The objective is that the participants learn different skills such as oral and written expression and comprehension.

The Gran Canaria School of Languages in Las Palmas is divided into 3 different buildings, but they are situated near to each other. One of the bulidings is the school and the other 2 buildings are used as residences for the participants.

As the school is situated only a few meters from the beach you can enjoy the sun, the ocean and the lovely promenade. You can strolley along the promenade and try canarian specialities or have a drink in one of the bars and much more.

In the school building there are 8 classrooms with a total capacity of 80 students. The house is a tipical Canarian construction with 2 Canarian patios. There is  free access to internet for all students and all of the classrooms are euqipped with video and audio devices and slide projector.

The Gran Canaria School of languages offers you the possibility to learn Spanish in a lovely surrounding and combine learning with a little holiday on Gran Canaria.
