San Bartolomé map San Bartolomé de Tirajana is the largest municipality on the island.
It has an extension of 333,13m² and is situated south of the isle of Gran Canaria.

On the inside we find "San Bartolomé de Tirajana" itself, localy known as "Tunte" and the idyllic town of "Fataga" with its beautivul valley of the 1000 palmtrees.

On the coast side beats the touristic heart of Gran Canaria:

The adjacent neighbourhoods of "Meloneras", "Maspalomas", "Playa del Ingles" and "San Agustin" cover the largest amount of touristic activity.

It is recomendable that you visit all the beaches on the coast side.

Furthermore you should take a trip, renting a car or a motorbike, to Fataga with its amazing viewpoint (mirador) and the mentioned Valley of the 1000 Palmtrees.

Near the village of Fataga you can take a camel ride in the Camel Safari Park which is situated here. Afterwards you can enjoy a tasty typcial Canarian lunch.
