The island of Gran Canaria is one of the most popular holiday destinations. The climate here is also warm in winter.

I have been there in December 2009 and spent at first some time in the island capital Las Palmas. This attracts visitors with its unique cathedral of Santa Ana in the old town. Open night on CAAM

Tomorrow,

June 8th the CAAM, the spanish acronym for Atlantic Center for Modern Art, offers an ‘open night’ due to the ‘Niki de Saint Phalle & Jean Tinguely’ exhibition titled L’Art et L’Amour. The center will not close its doors at 9 p.m. as usually and will remain open till 12 p.m. for this ‘open night’.
