Tuesday, December 12th, 2006
The park of "San Fernando" in the neighbourhood of Maspalomas, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, is getting an amphitheatre on its north-side. It has a capacity of about 3000 seats and is designed to be a stage for theatrical representations, concerts and other cultural events. It is planed, by contract, to be finished on march but according to the site manager it will be already finished in february.Park of San Fernando amphitheatre Park of San Fernando amphitheatre How you like that...? Weather alert

Saturday, December 9th, 2006
Unlike some of you might think, sometimes we do have bad weather too. But, psshhhht!! don't tell nobody :D   The wind, rain and snow storm that is lashing the spanish peninsula in almost 14 regions is getting closer and the canarian emergency & security coordination centre (Cecoes) declared an oficial warning due to strong wind, with possible gusts of up to 90km/h (54mp/h). This alert is valid until the midnight of monday, so if you have planed to take a trip to the interior of Gran Canaria, be very careful. Lets hope this will bring rain but leave the rest on its way here.

There are actually different ways or styles of preparing them but basically its donde this way:

1) Pic small sized potatoes, like an egg, and wash them very good but leave the skin on.

2) Put them in a high saucepan, add a piece of lemon and a quarter kilo of salt for every kilo of potatoes (more or less: 1 pound = 0,454 kilo; 2.205 pounds = 1 kilo ). Fill the saucepan with water just enough to cover the potatoes on the top and
