Since yesterday,
4 new high-resolution cameras were installed and hopefully will make the more problematic streets of the "Santa Catalina" zone, in Las Palmas, more secure. The quality of the cameras is inmense and allows to zoom along the entire 4 streets they were placed, making it possible to recognize registration numbers of vehicles or even the expressions on peoples faces. These high-resolution cameras are able of providing perfect images, even at night, thanks to night vision.
The cameras were installed at the crossing of 4 streets: "Luis Morote" with "Secretario Artiles", "Torres Quevedo" with "Bernardo de la Torre", "José Franchy Roca" with "Joaquín Costa" and "Nicolás Estévanez" with "Tomás Miller" with a cost of 81.000€.
