A Tram for Las Palmas ??

"Jerónimo Saavedra",
leading candidate for mayor for Las Palmas for the socialist party, plans to use this statement to support his campaign. He says that it is sad to admit that in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which has a more difficult orography than we have in Las Palmas, the work is already being finished.
He also stated that this would relieve a lot the actual traffic chaos our capital is in and would do something remarkable for the environment giving the city its "splendour and prestige" back.
I would deffinitely vote for this guy if i wasn't living in Maspalomas (South of Gran Canaria). Las Palmas is completely collapsed when there's rush hour and this would help a lot.
