Warning, Salmonella outbreak

Thursday, November 23rd, 2006
Warning, The regional health ministry detected an outbreak of "salmonella kottbus" in bottled water of the "Breña Alta" brand. Though it caused 4 slight cases of "gastroenteritis" on children, it is under control. To avoid a suspected epidemy comming from the consumption of this water, the Public Health Directorate carried out a sanitary inspection at the water factory, taking samples and confirming the presence of this microorganism in the water and detecting processing mistakes. The factory was temporarily closed and the product was confiscated there and at avery distribution centre of the Island. Though it is said to be under control, be very careful and i would recomend you not to drink this water within a few weeks to avoid possible infections.
