the 'Gregorian Room' of the famous store Harrods, will be promoting the canarian tomatoe in britain in its 2006-2007 edition. This event will try to strengthen the consumption of canarian tomatoes in the UK, which is, economically seen, a very important strategic point for the canarian food production sector.
On tuesday another event will take place. This time, The Berkeley hotel will be the one to welcome a wine tasting of known canarian wines. "Los Bermejos", "Tierra de Frontos", "Arca de Vitis", "Carballo", "Viñatigo", "El Grifo", "Cumbres de Abona", "Llanovid", "Tamanca" and "Güimar" will be the ten wineries taking part in this act. Charlotte Hey, the editor of "The Drink Bussines", will asist to this event too and will discuss the potential of the canarian wines in the UK.
