Valleseco, Gran Canaria
Valleseco is situated 7 km away from Teror.
This small municicpality, with not more than 4100 inhabitants,
is one of the most beautiful places of Gran Canaria. Thanks to
the 1000m of altitude where it lies it is almost constantly
bathed in a sea of clouds. The town itself keeps up old farming
and agricltural traditions.
The places worth to visit in this particular municipality are:
the weekly municipal market held every Sunday morning, the
recreational area of "La Laguna", which is a very beautiful natural
enclave to spend a day at, and the rural park of "Doramas", which
was once part of the ancestral "Doramas forrest".
