Moya, Gran Canaria
Moya is known as the "green town" thanks to its floral diversity.
This certain type of vegetation and the amount of that certain
kind of floral species is known as "Laurisilva". It can be found
almost everywhere un Moya thanks to the almost constant humididty.
Beside the town of Moya itself the most remarkable things to visit
in this municipality are "Los Tilos de Moya" which is a congregation
of "laurisilvian" flora and the neighbour town of "Fontanales" 10km
away, an ideal place to go for a walk.
