Ferry, Gran CanariaFerry Gran Canaria:
Connections to the canary islands and the peninsula

From Gran Canaria you can visit other sunny islands or even the Spanish peninsula by ferry. Here you will find corresponding offers:

• Fred Olsen Express

• Naviera Armas

• Trasmediterranea
The city of Las Palmas in Gran Canaria has approx. 364.777 inhabitants. It is the largest town of the Canary islands.
It is characterized by very big ports. Famous buildings in the historic center of Las Palmas is the "Vegueta", cathedral Santa Ana and the "Casa Colóns", a splendid colonial style building, in which the Columbus museum is housed.

Further museums in the town are the "Museo Canario" with its collection of valuable historical objects found. More interesting museums to visit are "Museo Néstor" and "Casa Museo Pérez Galdós".

In February the island is taken by the carnival fever. Carnival is prepared with great effort and the preparations are started weeks before the events.

I prefer the Ferry of Garajonay or Naviera Armas because they are cheaper and have good service on board.
